released this
2026-06-16 22:06:23 +02:00 | 4 commits to main since this releaseThis major release introduces a complete async rewrite with significant performance improvements:
- Flask → Quart (async): Better concurrency, lower latency
- Pre-warmed agent: First-request latency reduced from ~20-60s to <2s
- HTTP/2 + connection pooling: Faster Telegram API calls
- Disk caching: Health checks cached (60s/5min)
- Circuit breaker: Resilient external calls with auto-recovery
- Configurable thread pool: 8 workers (was 4)
- Zero hardcoded paths/secrets: All via environment variables
- Graceful lifecycle: Proper startup/shutdown handlers
- Async migration (Flask→Quart)
- HTTP/2 connection pooling for Telegram
- diskcache layer for health responses
- Thread pool increase (4→8, configurable)
- Environment variable config (no hardcoded paths)
- Circuit breaker pattern
- Pinned dependencies for reproducible builds
- Graceful startup/shutdown handlers
- Dual health endpoints (quick + deep)
- Minimum Python 3.11+ (unchanged, but now enforced)
- New environment variables required for deployment
- Running via uvicorn/gunicorn instead of Flask dev server
